On one of our trips around Sedona, we visited Red Rock Chapel. The views of around the chapel were fantastic. The chapel is a popular tourist spot. A couple big tour buses stopped by when we were there.
I think the inside of the chapel has room for around 40 people. Misook and I did say a small prayer when we were inside. Part of mine was for our wedding to be rain free. It worked.

Misook's Wedding Dress
We started shopping for wedding dresses in Houston, Texas and were shocked at the prices. Even the simple dresses seemed to be the price of a down payment on a house. After some discussion, we decided to take our chances by ordering a dress online. We knew it was a big gamble but the price savings made it tempting.
After searching several online sites, we found a dress that we both loved. I measured Misook according to the instructions online. We ordered the dress and hoped for the best. Our biggest problem was that the delivery date was within a week of the wedding date. To our delight, the dress arrived about 2 weeks early. The biggest shock was that the dress was beautiful, well made with quality materials, and fit almost perfectly!
We did have to have the top of the dress altered. The dress cost $180. We spent $40 to have it custom built to her size. We had to pay $45 in custom fees. Finally, we paid $80 to have the dress altered by hand and pressed. Our total cost for Misook's amazing dress was under $350. We could not have been more pleased. Judging by the number of compliments, everyone was impressed. Little did they know that the dress was bought online. (I guess they do now!)
This is a rear view of the dress, right out of the box.
My Mom helped with getting the dress altered and gave Misook the pearls as a wedding gift.
Here is a front view of the dress after travelling over 2500 miles and being part of an outdoor wedding. It has a few stains from the red dirt on the Merry Go Round Rock wedding site near Sedona, Arizona. Misook decided not to get the dress cleaned. The dress now tells a story of our lovely wedding and the dirt stains will bring back many special memories.

Getting Our Arizona Marriage License
We arrived in Sedona, Arizona a few days before the wedding so that we could pick up our marriage license. We had to drive about 45 minutes to Flagstaff, where the Superior courthouse was located.. I thought going to the legal process would be difficult. However, I was glad find out it was really easy. Basically you just show some identification, answer a few questions, and pay a $76 fee. We were out of the courthouse in less than 10 minutes.
We spent the rest of the day exploring Flagstaff and had a great time. Flagstaff has some great restaurants and some good art galleries. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Sedona, Arizona area. We had planned to attend a concert that was going to be held in the town square. The weather starting looking bad so we left early. It was a difficult drive back to Sedona in the heavy monsoon rain.

The rain clouds were just starting to build before we left. They got a lot worse later.
